We offer you the choice between two types of international recruitment missions. Here are the advantages of each.
In-person international recruitment mission
This option allows you to spend time with your candidates, to get to know them by observing their know-how, analyzing their technical skills, appreciating their personality and values, and learning more about their life project and their willingness to emigrate.
Virtual international recruitment mission
A virtual mission includes video conferencing meetings and video captures that allow you to observe live the candidates’ technical skills.
Whether you choose the in-person or virtual option, every step of the recruitment process has been designed to recruit qualified candidates who have both the technical knowledge and personal skills necessary to successfully integrate into Quebec society.
The International recruitment steps
Throughout our missions, we have come to define the best conditions that ensure the selection of the best candidates possible.
Once your company’s needs are defined and the list of positions to be filled is established, the recruitment process with the source country begins. As we receive various candidate resumes, we quickly preselect a few profiles before forwarding them to you.
Within the framework of an in-person mission, PHOENIX-GMI takes care of all the logistical aspects and ensures your comfort and safety throughout your trip.
As part of a virtual mission, PHOENIX-GMI takes into account the time difference to ensure everyone’s comfort during live practical tests that take place in a secure, controlled environment as well as interviews between the employer and the candidates.
As soon as a candidate is selected, his file is forwarded to the PHOENIX-GMI immigration department, which then takes the necessary steps to facilitate his rapid arrival in Quebec.
Since certain procedures can be time-consuming due to the requirements of the different levels of government, constant communication is ensured by PHOENIX-GMI between the company and the candidate.
This period is put to good use by the PHOENIX-GMI mobility team, which works to familiarize candidates with the work that awaits them and the living conditions in Quebec while encouraging them to learn French.
Once the immigration procedures are completed, your company is informed of each candidate’s arrival date. Instructions for the final immigration procedures at the port of entry are prepared, insurance is contracted, and the logistics surrounding their arrival and reception are finalized.
